At Little Tulips Speech Pathology, we provide speech pathology assessments and therapy for children and young people from birth to 16 years within the Geelong region. Services are designed to be nurturing and child-led, supporting each child’s communication in ways that align with their strengths and identity.

Therapy focuses on connection, regulation and trust, while working closely with families, educators and other professionals to support children across everyday environments.

Services are available at home or within educational settings.

Speech & Language Assessment

At Little Tulips, we offer a range of assessments including:

-
Speech sound assessments
-
Formal assessments of receptive and expressive language such as The Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals (CELF-5 & Preschool CELF-4)
-
Pragmatic Language assessments

Literacy assessment and screening including phonological awareness, letter-sound links, spelling, writing and reading. A comprehensive report with recommendations will be provided.

Autism Assessment

We work in conjunction with a Clinical Psychologist to conduct the speech pathology assessment as part of the autism assessment process. This typically consists of a parental interview, a pragmatic language assessment, questionnaires and joint observation with the psychologist.
You will be provided with a comprehensive report following the assessment. We are also able to collaborate with your own psychologist to conduct the speech pathology part of the assessment

Therapy

We offer a range of therapy services to support speech sounds, receptive and expressive language, literacy, and social skills in a neuroaffirming, strengths-based way.
Sessions aim to be fun, playful, and tailored to your child’s interests and strengths.
